Corrib Oil, a service station and energy company, has announced plans to more than double its nationwide store presence to 100 locations by 2030, creating 1,200 jobs across Ireland.
As part of this expansion, the company will open at least four new service stations this year, starting with a location on Model Farm Road in Cork set to launch this month, adding 30 new jobs.
Corrib’s growth strategy includes both new site developments and strategic acquisitions. Recruitment is already underway for roles in store management, retail, operations, supply chain, logistics, and head office functions.
Currently, Corrib Oil operates 38 service stations across 17 counties and employs 1,150 people.
In November 2024, the company became the Irish franchise partner for Wendy’s, the US fast-food chain. Over the next two years, it plans to open 10 Wendy’s restaurants, including standalone locations and outlets within existing Corrib service stations.
Chief Executive Eugene Dalton highlighted that the expansion aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy.
“We have been expanding our retail footprint to meet the fuel, retail, and service station needs of communities,” Mr. Dalton said. “This programme accelerates that growth even further.”
